Représenté par Philippe Jamet, directeur général, l’Institut Mines-Télécom participera au Consumer Electronics Show (CES) de Las Vegas du 6 au 9 janvier.

À l’occasion de cet événement mondial, l’Institut pourra faire valoir la présence de 18 start-up « made in IMT » parmi la délégation FrenchTech. Rappelant ainsi son engagement pour l’entrepreneuriat et l’innovation, tant au niveau des formations d’ingénieur que celui de son soutien à la création d’entreprise.

Philippe Jamet ira ensuite avec Pierre Gattaz, président du Medef, dans la Silicon Valley, à la rencontre de la communauté Tech française de San Francisco.

Les 18 start-up « made in IMT » au CES 2016

> Mines Albi
Entreprise innovante issue de l’incubateur de Mines Albi, Canhegat propose des outils intelligents permettant d’aider les propriétaires d’animaux de compagnie à maintenir leurs compagnons en bonne santé.

> Mines Alès
LabOxy, start-up incubée à Mines Alès, développe des logiciels de gestion pour la R&D et le Crédit d’impôt recherche (CIR). Virdys est issue du même incubateur. Déjà présente au CES de janvier 2015, Virdys édite des outils d’aide à la vente par un procédé innovant de 3D interactive.

> Mines Nancy
DRUST Start-up fondée par Michaël Fernandez (Diplômé de Mines Nancy), Pascal Galacteros et Florent Pignal, trois amis et anciens ingénieurs de chez PSA, propose la solution AKOLYT, un assistant personnel d’aide à la conduite qui permet de réduire sa facture de carburant jusqu’à 30%.

> Mines Nantes
Sensorwake (co-dirigée par Ivan Siybyk, diplômé de Mines Alès, aux côtés du jeune inventeur Guillaume Rolland) est incubée à Mines Nantes et propose de révolutionner les petits matins avec des réveils diffuseurs d’odeurs. Elle a reçu un CES Innovation award 2016.

> Mines Saint-Étienne
Nawa Technologies (fournisseur de solutions et produits innovants à base de matériaux nanostructurés), Selerys (développeur de radars météo pour la gestion des risques de grêle) et Fenotek (qui propose des interphones vidéo sans fil innovants) sont toutes trois incubées dans l’Espace Partenarial Recherche et Développement (EPRD) de Mines Saint-Étienne à Gardanne.

> Télécom Lille
Activkonnect (agence web qui développe notamment l’appli Good Morning Planet) est dirigée par Rémy Sanchez, diplômé 2012 de Télécom Lille.

> Télécom ParisTech
Ethertrust (spinoff dans le domaine de la sécurité des communications mobiles), Sevenhugs (inventeur d’une solution connectée veillant au sommeil de chacun), et Videostitch (qui propose une solution permettant de réaliser des vidéos à 360°) sont des sociétés issues de l’incubateur de Télécom ParisTech.

Netatmo (créateur de caméras d’intérieur, thermostats et stations météo connectés, fondé par Fred Potter, et déjà gagnant de plusieurs CES Innovation awards 2016), Qarnot Computing (spécialisée dans les radiateurs à partir de serveurs informatiques et dirigée par Paul Benoît), Sequans (société technologique fournissant des semi-conducteurs pour la téléphonie mobile 4G, conduite par Georges Karam) sont trois sociétés dirigées par des diplômés Télécom ParisTech.

> Télécom SudParis & Télécom École de Management
Appstick (spécialisée dans le marketing mobile et la reconnaissance d’images enrichies), Uraniom (qui propose des avatars 3D pour les jeux vidéo) et Wezzoo (créateur du parapluie connecté Oombrella) sont des start-up incubées sur le campus commun de Télécom SudParis et Télécom École de Management.

Par ailleurs, Frédéric Gresset, élève de Télécom Bretagne, aura le privilège d’accompagner l’équipe French IoT (Internet of Things) du Groupe La Poste. En savoir +

INSTITUT MINES-TÉLÉCOM AT CES 2016

Institut Mines-Télécom will be taking part in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from 6 to 9 January, and will be represented by Philippe Jamet, its President.

During this international event the Institute will be highlighting the inclusion of 18 “made in IMT” start-ups in the FrenchTech delegation, a reminder of its commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation through its engineering training and its support for business creation.

Philippe Jamet will then go on to Silicon Valley with Pierre Gattaz, President of the MEDEF, to meet the French technology community in San Francisco.

18 “made in IMT” start-ups at CES 2016

> Mines Albi
Canhegat (a company from the incubator at Mines Albi) offers smart tools to help pet owners keep their healthy companions.

> Mines Alès
LabOxy, a start-up incubated at Mines Alès, develops management software programs for R&D and the Research Tax Credit. Virdys also comes from the same incubator. Also present at CES in January 2015, Virdys publishes sales support tools using an innovative 3D interactive process.

> Mines Nancy
DRUST Start-up founded by Michaël Fernandez (a graduate of Mines Nancy), Pascal Galacteros and Florent Pignal, three friends and former engineers at PSA. It offers the AKOLYT solution, a personal driving assistant that reduces the invoice of fuel up to 30%.

> Mines Nantes
Sensorwake (Co-Directed by Ivan Siybyk, a graduate of Mines Alès, alongside young inventor Guillaume Rolland) was incubated at Mines Nantes and proposes to revolutionize early mornings with alarm clocks that diffuse scents. It has received a CES Innovation Award 2016.

> Mines Saint-Étienne
Nawa Technologies (producer of innovative products and solutions made of nanostructured materials), Selerys (developer of weather radar for managing hail risks) and Fenotek (which proposes innovative wireless video interphones) were all incubated in the Espace Partenarial Recherche et Développement (EPRD – Research and Development Partnership Space) of Mines Saint-Étienne in Gardanne.

> Télécom Lille
Activkonnect (a web agency which is developing the application called Good Morning Planet, among others) is headed by Rémy Sanchez, who graduated in 2012 from Télécom Lille.

> Télécom ParisTech
Ethertrust (a spin-off in the field of mobile communication security) and Sevenhugs (the inventor of a connected solution for monitoring sleep), and Videostitch (which offers a solution to stitch and produce 360 videos), are companies from the incubator at Télécom ParisTech.

Appstick (a specialist in mobile phone marketing and enriched image recognition), Uraniom (which proposes 3D avatars for video games) and Wezzoo (creator of the Oombrella connected umbrella) are all start-ups incubated on the Télécom SudParis and Télécom École de Management campus.

In addition, Frédéric Gresset, a student at Télécom Bretagne, will enjoy the privilege of accompanying the French IoT (Internet of Things) team of La Poste Group. Find out more
