Presidential elections, health crises and the war in Ukraine are all events associated with the massive propagation of "fake news". The reasons for its emergence and the contexts in which it occurs are highly complex, requiring analysis on different levels. Anuragini Shirish, a researcher at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, is working on establishing a link between fake news and economic and social indicators.
